GARDNER, LIDA - Miss Lida, daughter of Mr. James B. Gardner, of Staunton township, died of consumption last Sunday morning.  Her funeral took place Tuesday afternoon, burial at Riverside Cemetery.  In another part of the paper - On Sabbath morning May 20, 1877, Lida Alice Gardner, at the home of her parents,  2 1/2 miles north of Troy.  Aged 15 years and 3 months.  Lida was a lovely young girl, a favorite among her acquaintances, a member, since 12 years of age, of the Presbyterian Church, of Troy.  She follows two other sisters who have been sometime dead, and leaves a father and mother, alone, to mourn her.  But she passed peacefully, and with bright hopes of heaven.
