HARTER, JAMES A. - Mr. James A. Harter, a well-known and highly
respected farmer of Elizabeth Township, died quite suddenly on Friday afternoon
of last week. He was out in a field husking corn when he was taken with an
epileptic fit and fell to the ground. He was carried to his house, where
he expired in about two hours. His funeral took place on Sunday. Mr.
Harter was a good citizen and good farmer, a man of strict integrity, and
kind-hearted. He was about sixty years of age at the time of his death.
