HOUSTON, LIZZIE E. - In Staunton tp., near Troy, O., April 30th, 1876, of Consumption, Lizzie E. wife of Harry Houston, aged 25 years.  Mrs. H. was a modest and retiring woman, and really known to but few of her own friends.  Her real excellence was apparent to but the narrowest circle of most intimate friends.  She beautifully honored her profession and illustrated in her life and conversation the spirit of her religion.  Devoted as a wife, mother, sister and daughter, she was also, in the fullest sense, exemplary as a Christian; the approach of death occasioned no fear, and in the immediate presence of the white robed King, she was full of pleased triumph.  She was an honored and loved member of the Troy Christian Church, and from it she will be sadly missed.  May Heaven console the stricken husband and keep the darling child.                   J.
