WHARTON, DANIEL - At his residence on Market street, Troy, May 3rd, 1875, after an illness of five months, Mr. Daniel Wharton, aged 60 years.  Mr. Wharton was born near the village of Lebanon, in Warren county, but in early life came to this county, in which he continued a citizen until death.  For several years he has been a resident of Troy, and certainly one of our most quiet and esteemed inhabitants.  For 35 years he was a member of the Christian Church, the fullest confidence of which he ever enjoyed, and in whose fellowship he died.  His widow deserves to receive the cordial sympathy of the village.  A good man has fallen.  May his example have careful imitation.  A very large funeral, and the general presence of the clergy, well illustrated his hold on the general confidences, and his worth as a man.              County papers please copy.      J.
