ROGERS, ASA - Last Sabbath, Asa Rogers, one of our oldest inhabitants, was interred in our cemetery.  He died at the residence of his son-in-law, Mr. Geo. Cosley, in Troy.  His funeral was quite large.  To the last resting place his estimable wife preceded him but a few months since.  The deceased was one of our pioneers, and will be greatly missed.
