COX, PELIG - In the death of Mr. Pelig Cox, late of Newton Township, Miami County, his family, society, and community at large have sustained a loss of no ordinary kind. Punctual in all the duties of life, he yet found time and opportunity to exceed in many of those graces which render men valuable throughout the sphere of their acquaintance. Though cut down in the midst of his usefulness, by an unusual and loathsome disease, his family and friends swell with melancholy pleasure on the fragrance of his good acts, realizing that "the memory of the just is blest".
