McMAHAN, JOHN - On Saturday morning, 2 1/2 miles north-east of this place, Mr. John McMahan, in the 78th year of his age. He had been a resident of this county for 39 years; was respected by all for his sterling virtues, as was evidenced by the large attendance at his funeral.
