McGALLIARD, MRS. REBECCA V. - Mrs. Rebecca V. McGalliard, wife of Francis R. McGalliard, died Feb. 14th, 1870, aged 64 years and 3 days. Mrs. McGalliard was born in New Jersey, Feb. 11th, 1806, and was married to her husband, who still survives her, in 1826. She made a profession of Christianity in 1829, and united with the Presbyterian church. The family moved to Ohio in 1834. Mrs. McGalliard was an earnest Christian, never loosing faith in the goodness of the Infinite One, under the severest trials of life. She died as she had lived, trusting in the mercy of God through him who said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life".
