Charles T. Riley, formerly a well known grocer but for the past years employed as a traveling man, suffered a paralytic stroke Thursday evening which resulted in his death Saturday morning. The stroke affected the right side and the stupor engendered was so profound that he never fully regained consciousness.

The deceased was 66 years old had been a resident of Troy all his life, excepting during the four years of service which he put in with the 71st O.V.I. during the Civil war.

His wife, one brother, John W. Riley, and two sisters, Mrs. Henrietta Monroe and Miss Cornelia Riley, of Xenia survive him.

Funeral services were held from the residence on South Cherry street, Monday afternoon, in charge of Dr. Clokey with music by the Knight Templar quartet.
