Hetzlers Corner: Benjamin Henry Harrison Webster, son of Hiram and Sarah Webster, was born in North Springcreek township, Miami County, January 20, 1835, and died in his home in the same township almost insight of where he was born, June 25. He was united in marriage with Elizabeth Heath, January 15, 1857. To this union five children were born – John, George Lincoln, Laura, Clinton, and Dora. George Lincoln died in infancy. Dora was the victim of an accidental homicide when 17 years old. The remaining members of the family are the widow, John, who lives nears Sidney; Mrs. Laura Preston, of Piqua; and Clinton on Johannesburg, Mich. Aside from his children he leaves one brother, William Webster of Kansas, two sisters, Mrs. Mary J. Hetzler of Pisa and Mrs. Rhonda A. Hetzler.

Mr. Webster was a civil war veteran belonging to Co. El 71st Regiment O.V.I. He was a member of the Alexander Mitchell Post. No. 158, G.A.R. of Ohio. The post attended the funeral in a body, six of them acting as pall bearers. Funeral services were conducted in the Springcreek Baptist church by the pastor Rev. Alby Kite, Monday at 2:30 PM. Burial in Fletcher cemetery.
