Miami Union newspaper article of April 21, 1883

    Troy, Ohio, April 15, 1883

Ed. Union - Enclosed please find names of all soldiers buried in Rose Hill and Riverside cemeteries.

The numbers of each stake on the graves correspond to those attached to names in this list.

The friends and relatives of our deceased soldiers have been appealed to to furnish full and correct Name, Company, Regiment and Rank.  The want of this information alone prevents
us from securing marble head stones for each grave from the Government.

Once again friends let us have this information promptly, and pay a long neglected debt to our fallen braves.  Leave information at the Post Office
