    Whitmer Graveyard
    Newberry Township, Miami County, Ohio


    Also known as the Arnold Cemetery, this burying ground is located twenty five feet south of U. S. Route 36, about two miles west of Covington. It is in the northwest quarter of Section 26, Town 9, Range 4. It is very small, unused cemetery. It is not fenced in, however, it is well cared for by the Newberry Township Trustees.

    In 1981 a home was built not far south of this cemetery and the gravestones are in the the front yard, so to speak, of said house.
