BETHEL WEST CEMETERY

(located south of Phoneton, Ohio on State Route 202)

formerly

BETHEL TOWNSHIP CEMETERY

at one time known as

BETHEL GERMAN REFORMED CHURCH CEMETERY

The first diagram shows the map of the cemetery and where the lots are located.  Following the map, there is a diagram that shows where the graves are located on the lot.  There is an exception for Lots 200-222 as there is only one grave per lot.

Every attempt has been made to make this list as complete and accurate as possible.  The Bethel Historical Society will keep this list as current as possible, as there are a number of graves that are still open.  Changes will be made to this listing if there is sufficient documentation to support the change.

The layout of the cemetery and the burials in the cemetery were taken from the records of the Bethel Trustees, since they own the property and maintain the cemetery.  There are no other records available for this listing, except the County Recorder's Office to check ownership of the lots.

Following the diagrams, begins the listing of the lots in the cemetery, listing the owner, the graves of this lot with burials that are on the lot, reserved graves (if known), and open graves.  The open graves are ones that are reserved and names have not been entered or graves that can be purchased.
