    THOMAS B. STEVENSON
    From Andreas History of the State of Nebraska, Pub 1882, about persons who lived in Miami County Ohio, then went to Nebraska

    Otoe Co, NE: THOMAS B. STEVENSON, attorney, came to Nebraska City April 2, 1863. He was born in Jefferson county, N. Y., July 28, 1835, and lived there four years; then moved to Canada until he was seventeen, and afterward lived in Green and Miami counties, Ohio. He enlisted August, 1864, in company A., Second Nebraska Battalion, and was captain of that company, serving six months. He commenced practice in the spring of 1865. In 1868 he was a delegate to the Chicago Republican convention, and was elected to the State Senate in 1869-70. He has served five terms in succession as Mayor of Nebraska City. He was married at Sidney, Iowa, March, 1858, to Anna C. Nisewhander, a native of Tazewell, Va. They have five children; Olla; Thomas; John; Nellie, and Harry. Three died. Mr. Stevenson and Judge Mason were partners from the fall of 1863 to June 1867.
