Lewis C. Shoe, farmer; P. O. Covington; he is a son of Solomon Shoe, who was born near Hagerstown Ind., and emigrated to Ohio in 1829, and entered land in this county, Newberry Township; he has a large farm situated on Harrison Creek, which has one of the best springs that can be found along the Creek. Lewis C. was born Oct. 5, 1849, near Milton, Union Township; he is a man that is respected by all who know him; he was reared and educated a farmer, and is still engaged in the business.
