    CHARLES A. BINKLEY

    CHARLES A. BINKLEY, Troy, special insurance agent for Penn Mutual of Philadelphia; born in Perry Co., Ohio, June 7 1828; in 1843, came to Troy, and learned the trade of sign and ornamental painter, which he followed twenty years. After giving up this business, he engaged in various pursuits until 1879, when he associated with the above firm as special agent, with headquarters in Troy. In 1851, was united in marriage with Mary C. Case, who was born in Herkimer Co., NY, Jan. 12, 1830. They have two children: Mabel, wife of Frank M. Starrett, and Otho. Mr. Binkley is a Republican in politics, and labors for the success of his party. The whole family are members of the M. E. Church.
