Sgt. James H. Lymus, 21, of Urbana was killed and four companions injured when their car left Route 36 in Lena the morning of July 4, 1946 and struck a telephone pole.  Mr. Lymus died immediately as he was removed from the car.  He suffered a skull fracture.
