CARTER, CAROLE - Carole Carter, 72, of Miamisburg,
passed away July 19, 2011 after a lengthy illness. She was preceded in
death by her husband Glen on July 12, 2002. Mrs. Carter is survived by
her sons Jack of Troy, Bret and his wife Tonya of Beavercreek, and Scott
and his wife Karla of Jacksonville, Florida, and Clint and his wife
Patricia of Springboro, as well as her daughter Penny and her husband
Mark of Port Charlotte, Florida. Mrs. Carter is also survived by six
grandchildren, Danielle, Donald, Dustin, Sara, Amanda and Natalie, her
brother Eddie Lipker and his wife Violet of Huber Heights, Ohio and many
other relatives and friends. Mrs. Carter was born in Springfield on
February 14, 1939. A former resident of Bethel Township, Miami County
since 1965, Mrs. Carter was the broker of her own real estate firm
Carter Realty in Tipp City and was very active in the Bethel Tipp City
area community for over forty-four years. Mrs. Carter retired as a
rural postal carrier for the Vandalia Post Office in December of 2008
before moving to Sycamore Glen Retirement Community in Miamisburg in
August of 2009. Mrs. Carter enjoyed gardening, crocheting, reading and
music and was an active member of Living Faith Community Church in
Miamisburg. A memorial service will be held for Mrs. Cater at Living
Faith (inside the Seventh Day Adventist Church on the campus of Sycamore
Hospital), 2155 Leiter Rd., Miamisburg, Ohio 45342 on Sunday, July 24,
2011 at 2:00 P. M. with Pastor Tom Parker presiding.
