HOHL, ANNA M. (LEFELD) - Anna M. Hohl, 87, of New
Carlisle, passed away Thursday, July 28, 2011. She was born in
Sharpsburg, Ohio on August 11, 1923, the daughter of the late Michael
and Katherine (Mescher) Lefeld. After Katherine's passing, she was
raised by her step-mother Rose Lefeld. Anna was one of eleven
children. She graduated from Julienne High School and received her RN
from Good Samaritan School of Nursing in Dayton. She worked at Good
Samaritan Hospital, Greene Memorial Hospital, and was the School Nurse
at Beavercreek Schools for many years. She was married to Richard Hohl
from 1947 until his death in 2007. She is survived by her four
children, Carole Hohl and her husband Jothy Rosenberg of Newton,
Massachusetts, Nancy and her husband Ronald Rowe of New Carlisle, Ohio,
Stephen and his wife Mindy Hohl of New Carlisle, Ohio, and Robert and
his wife Monica Hohl of Springfield, Ohio; eleven grandchildren; five
great-grandchildren; two sisters, Betty Hess of Brock, Ohio and Vera
Bollheimer of West Milton, Ohio. The family would like to extend a
special thank you to Katie Beanblossom, Yvetta Evans, Dayview Care
Center and their staff for all the love and care she received. A
gathering of family and friends was held on Friday, July 29, at the
Trostel, Chapman, Dunbar & Fraley Funeral Home in New Carlisle. Funeral
services took place on July 30, in the funeral home with Deacon Bob
Kozlowski officiating. Burial followed at the Valley View Memorial
Gardens, Xenia. Memorial contributions may be made to Dayview Care
