LORMS, SHIRLEY - Shirley (Hanna) Lorms, 86, of Novi, Mich., formerly of Tipp City and Columbus, died Wednesday, June 16, 2010. She was born March 20, 1924 in Indianapolis, Inc. to Robert and Mercedes Hanna. She was a 1942 graduate of St. Mary's of the Springs and Mt. Carmel Hospital Nursing School. She was a dedicated Registered Nurse and Hospice volunteer. Shirley is survived by her children; David and Alberta Lorms of Gaithersburg, Md., Kelly and Anne Lorms of Wauatosa, Wis., Julie and Paul Fiddick of Alexandria, Va., Mark of Decatur, Ga., Amy of Chicago, Ill., Molly and Bob Prim of Farmington Hills, Mich.; eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Dr. John Lorms, DDS; brother, Robert Hanna Jr. and sister Kathleen Roberts. Mass of Christian burial was held June 21 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Tipp City, with burial in St. John's Cemetery. Arrangements by Frings and Bayliff Funeral Home, Tipp City. Contributions may be made in Shirley's name to St. John's Hospice in care of the funeral home.
