HUNT, RUTH V. STICKEL - Ruth V. Stickel Hunt, 91, of Troy, died at 8:30 a.m. Monday, Jan. 25, 2010, at Koester Pavilion, Troy.  She was born Oct. 25, 1918, in Union Township, to the late George and Clara (Elliott) Price.  Ruth was a graduate of Milton Union School, a past member of the Cove Spring Grange and the Red Poll Cattle Association and a member of 4-Ways Club, Grace Bible Church, Springfield, and attended Tipp City Church of the Nazarene.  Survivors include her third husband, Albert Hunt, daughter and son-in-law, Lou Ann and John Jess of Troy; son and daughter-in-law G. C. and Michele Stickel of Florida; step children, Thomas Hunt of Vermillion, David and Cheryl Hunt of Michigan and Faith and Eldon Schaefer of Troy; sister-in-law, Helen Stickel of Fairborn; grandchildren, Mike Jess, Jane and Charles Tackett and Krysta and John Edminson; and great-grandchildren Kacie, Colin, Kylie, John and Shelby and many step-grandchildren, step great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by her first husband, Roger A. Stickel, and second husband, James Rice.  A memorial service was held Jan. 28 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy.  Ruth chose to have her body donated to Wright State University for medical research.  Burial will take place at a later time.  Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Miami County, P.
