ROETH, LUTHER W. - Luther W. Roeth, 81, of Tipp City, died
Tuesday, July 6, 2010 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Dayton. He was
born July 23, 1928 in Piqua to Ralph and Zeldia (Rhoades) Roeth. He was a
retired accountant from Hobart Brothers Corp., Troy; a member of Zion
Lutheran Church, Tipp City; a vending machine attendant for AVI and because
he grew up on a farm, he assisted his wife with area farmers' markets in
Piqua and Troy. Luther was preceded in death by his parents; son, James
Roeth; sister, Marie Myers and brother, Robert Roeth. He is survived by his
wife of 37 years. Laura (Sebold) Roeth of Tipp City; children, Connie and
Gary Bonifas of Sidney, Bill and Julie Roeth of Piqua, Bill and Yvonne
Selsor of Troy, Harry and Shirley Selsor of Jacksonville, Fla., Trudy
Hamilton of Columbus, Edward and Dina Sebold of South Hampton, Pa., Gregory
and Colleen Sebold of Sacramento, Calif., Brian Sebold of Tipp City, Mary
and James Miles of Penrose, Colo.; brother-in-law, Chuck Myers of Troy,
sister-in-law, JoAnn Roeth of Piqua; 20 grandchildren and 13 great
grandchildren. Funeral services were held July 14 at Zion Lutheran Church,
Tipp City. Arrangements by Frings and Bayliff Funeral Home, Tipp City.
Contributions may be made in Luther's name to the Zion Church building fund.
