MOWREY, JOHN JOSEPH - John Joseph Mowrey, 87, of Covington, formerly of Tipp City, died Friday, April 16, 2010 at Covington Care Center. He was born July 12, 1922 in Buffalo, N.Y. He was preceded in death by his parents, John H. and Agnes (Sweitzer) Mowrey. John is survived by his wife Mary (Hemmelgarn) Mowrey of Coldwater; sisters, Patricia Wolf of Lockport, N.Y. and Kathleen Burns of Orchard Park, N.Y. A Funeral Mass was held April 20 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Tipp City. Arrangements by Hale-Sarver Funeral Home in West Milton.
