HANCOCK, DANNY - Danny Hancock, 68, of North Port, Fla., formerly of Tipp City, died July 10, 2010 at Venice Hospice House in Venice, Fla. He was born Nov. 9, 1941 in Shirley, Ind. He was a 1959 graduate of Milton-Union High School, an avid golfer, member of Pleasant Hill Church of God and Moose Lodge in Bradenton, Fla. He was preceded in death by his father, Alva Hancock and sister, Doris Allene. Danny is survived by his wife, Joyce (Price) Hancock; mother, LaVera Hancock; sons and daughters-in-law, Scott and Annette Hancock of Laura, Steve and Tina Hancock, of Troy; daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Brett Gostomsky of Covington; grandchildren, Zacc, Jordan and Garrett Hancock, Kara and Morgan Hancock, Alex and Heather Lowe, Brooke, Makenna and Erika Gostomsky, brother, Darvin Hancock of Cennial, Colo.; special friends and in-laws, Dr. Robert Price, Nancy (Counts) Price, Shirley and Dean Vance, Ron Price and Cindy Scher, Judy Creech of Florida and Ken and Nancy Price of Florida. Funeral services were held July 16 at Hale-Sarver Funeral Home, West Milton, with Rev. Darryl Moore officiating. Burial followed at Wheelock Cemetery.
