MARLOW, ROBERT H. - Robert H. Marlow, 84, of Lewisburg,
died Monday, Nov. 9, 2009. He was born Feb. 7, 1925 in Eagan, Tenn., a son
of the late James F. and Rhoda (York) Marlow. He was a US Navy Veteran of
World War II. He retired in 1987 from General Motors. He attended the
Crossroad Church of God in Vandalia. In addition to his parents, he is
preceded in death on January 24, 2008 by beloved wife Jewel (Overton)
Marlow; and brother Bill Marlow. He is survived by children, Karen Cole and
husband Richard of West Milton; Ethel Poland and husband Steve of Tipp City;
Larry Marlow and wife Linda of Clayton and Barbara Patrick and husband Isaac
of Englewood; grandchildren, Larry Marlow, Reese Marlow, Susan Clarkson,
Heather Ferguson, Kenneth Poland, Troy Baker, Edward Baker III, Bobbie Jewel
Krueger, Cindy Baker and Casey Cole; 17 great-grandchildren; sister, Pearl
Siler of Dalton, Ga. and brother Warren Marlow of New Carlisle. Services
were held Nov. 13 at the Robert L. Crooks Funeral Center at Preble Memory
Gardens, West Alexander with Pastor Doug Townsend presiding. Memorial
contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Assn.
