SWAFFORD, JOHN E. - John E. Swafford, 43, of Englewood, died March 4, 2009 after a battle with small lung cancer. He was born on June 7, 1965. He worked for Hardo Industries for 17 years. He is survived by his parents James "Ed" and Judy (Carmack) Swafford of Union; girlfriend, Liana Zwisler; her son, Corey Zwisler of Englewood and her daughter, Trish Reece of Vandalia; one brother and sister-in-law; seven nephews, Josh, Jordan, Jason, Jimmy, Jerret, Joe and Jake; two nieces, Jamy and Jessica; and many more extended family and friends. Funeral services were held March 7 at Hale-Sarver Funeral Home, West Milton, with Pastor Douglas Jones officiating. Interment followed at Minnich Cemetery, Union.
