LUTZ, JANET SUE (RYAN) - Janet Sue Lutz, 71, of Troy, formerly of Tipp City died 6:44 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2009, at The Ohio State University Medical Center, Columbus, where she was a heart transplant patient of nearly 10 years.  She was born on Jan. 20, 1938, in Troy to the late Robert Henry and Edna Luella (Underwood) Ryan.  Janet was a member of the Troy View Church of God and was formerly employed by the Copeland Corp. and Edminson Trucking Co.  She was a member of the Degree of Pocahontas Chinquilla Council #130, Troy; Past Great Pocahontas of State of Ohio; Town and Country Grandmother's Club #329, former member of the VFW Auxiliary #5436, Eagles Auxiliary #971, and the Women of the Moose #1025.  Janet is survived by her daughter and son-in law, Lynda and James Seigle of Piqua; two sons and daughters-in-law, Gary Lee and Linda Smith Sr. of East Lynn, W.Va. and Marvin Robert and Carol Smith of Covington; two step daughters, Yvonna Long of Mackinaw City, Mich. and Carmen Zimmerman of Wauseon; 11 grandchildren and two step grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren and six step great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Robert Kent and Renate Ryan of Ft. Myers, Fla.; sister, Carolee Albaugh of Troy; special friend, Debra Deskins of Troy; in addition to the parents, Janet was preceded in death by her great-grandson, William E. Fisher II and sister, Patricia McKinney.  Services were held Sept. 28 at the Troy View Church of God with Pastor Steve Zimbelman officiating.  Interment was in Forest Hills Cemetery, Tipp City.  Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Assoc.
