WEAVER, HOMER B.
- Homer B. Weaver, 84, of Tipp
City, died Feb. 27, 2009 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born January
28, 1925 in Miami County the son of the late Clarence and Verta
(Wright) Weaver. Homer was a graduate of Newton High School and was
a Merchant Marine veteran of WWII. He was a member of the West
Charleston Church of the Brethren. He is survived by his wife of 62
years, Helen (Artz) Weaver; two sons, Gary and Pat Weaver of Troy,
John and Tammy Weaver of Tipp City; a daughter, Kathy (Weaver) and
Ralph Pickering of Westfield, Ind.; granddaughter, Laree Blazer of
Brownsburg, Ind.; two grandsons, Tyler Weaver of Carlsbad, Calif.,
Jordan Weaver of Tipp City; brother, Herbert Weaver of West Milton;
sister, Margery Weaver of West Milton; several nieces, nephews,
other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he is
preceded in death by a sister, Katherine Weaver. Funeral services
were held March 2 at Trostel, Chapman, Dunbar & Fraley Funeral Home,
New Carlisle, with Rev. Burt Wolfe officiating. Burial followed in
New Carlisle Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to
