GALLAGHER, GARY C. - Gary C. Gallagher, 62 of Tipp City died Friday, Jan. 9, 2009 at his residence following a brief illness. He was born Dec. 23, 1946 in Portsmouth, Ohio to Martin and Marie Gallagher. Gary was a retired machinist from Mid-West Tool; a member of the American Legion, Tipp City; Moose Lodge, Troy; a 1964 graduate of Troy High School. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Marty Gallagher. Surviving are his wife Patricia (Preston) Gallagher; daughter, Angel Lightcap, Tipp City and Annette Randall, Troy; son, Matt Gallagher, Tipp City; brothers, Terry Gallagher, Michigan and Larry Gallagher, Florida; grandchildren, Nick Lightcap, Jordan Washburn, Justin Randall, Derek and Zack Clevenger. Services were held Jan. 15 at Frings & Bayliff Funeral Home with Rev. Jack Chalk officiating. Contributions may be made to Hospice of Miami County.
