JOHNSON, ELLEN (FLATTER) - Ellen (Flatter) Johnson, age 87
of Tipp City, Ohio, died Wednesday, February 25, at Spring Meade Health Care
Center following a brief illness. Ellen was born May 7, 1921 in Vandalia,
Ohio to Everett and Myrtle (Shoup) Flatter. Ellen was retired from Dolly
Toy Company, Tipp City. She was preceded in death by her parents, her
husband Walter in 1982, and her sister Miriam Butts in 1998. Surviving are
her nephew and his wife Paul and Judy Butts, Tipp City and niece Linda
Slade, Tipp City, great nephew and nieces Jeff Butts, Greenfield, IN; Susan
Butts, Cincinnati; Amy and her husband Don Ragan, Tipp City; and Lisa Slade,
Huber Heights. Funeral services were held 10:00 am Saturday February 28th
at FRINGS AND BAYLIFF FUNERAL HOME, 327 West Main Street, Tipp City, OH
45371. Pastor Gary Boggs officiated and burial was in Memorial Park
Cemetery, Dayton. Visitation was 5-8 pm Friday at the funeral home.

of Tipp City, died Feb. 25, 2009 at Spring Meade Health Care Center
following a brief illness. She was born May 7, 1921 in Vandalia to
Everett and Myrtle (Shoup) Flatter. Ellen was retired from Dolly Toy
Company, Tipp City. She was preceded in death by her parents, her
husband Walter in 1982 and her sister Miriam Butts in 1998. She is
survived by her nephew, Paul and Judy Butts of Tipp City; niece, Linda
Slade to Tipp City; great nephew, Jeff Butts of Greenfield, Ind.; great
nieces, Susan Butts of Cincinnati, Amy and Don Ragan of Tipp City and
Lisa Slade of Huber Heights. Funeral services were held Feb. 28 at
Frings and Bayliff Funeral Home, Tipp City with Pastor Garry Boggs
officiating, followed by burial in Memorial Park Cemetery, Dayton.
