HOWARD, BEVERLY J. (SMITH) - Beverly J. Howard, 70, of West Milton died Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2008 at Good Samaritan Hospital.　 She was born June 17, 1938 in Hazard, Ky.　 Beverly retired from Chrysler after 30 years of service.　 She was preceded in death by her parents Marcus and Lucinda (Roark) Smith; sisters, Zella Russell, Connie Smith; half sister Polly Deaton; brothers, Agress, Tim, Fargo, Wells and Marcus Smith Jr.　 She is survived by her husband, Billy J. Howard; daughter, Samantha Freels of Ludlow Falls; grandchildren, Brad, Shawn, Luke, Tony; great-grandchild, Wyatt; nieces and spouses Shirley Anne Miller of Huber Heights, Ronda and Syamal Ghosh of Rochester, N.Y., April and Dana Howell of Huber Heights; great nieces Rani Ghosh of Rochester, N.Y., Jessica and Meghan Howell of Huber Heights; aunt Susie Ward of Hazard, Ky.　 Services were held Dec. 27 at the Hale-Sarver Funeral Home, West Milton with Pastor Russell Gross officiating.　 Interment was in Unity Cemetery.
