HEFFNER, SHIRLEY M. (WELDY) - Shirley M. Heffner, age 73 of Troy, died suddenly Saturday, April 26 at her residence. She was born Aug. 23, 1934 in Bethel Township, Miami County, to Raymond and Margaret (Comer) Weldy, who preceded her in death. Heffner was raised in the Nazarene Church of Tipp City. She is survived by her husband of 54 years Jack Heffner, her children Tim and his wife Pam Heffner, West Milton; Lisa and husband Steve Johnson, Troy; Jacque and her husband Rick Boehringer, Troy, Susan and husband Don Fosnight, Troy; sisters, Dorris Hoyt, Pleasant Hill, and Linda Keen, Urbana; grandchildren Jeff and Molly Johnson, Nick Heffner, Tyler Fosnight, Shayne Heffner, Alyssa Fosnight, Haylie and Tara Boehringer. The memorial service was held Tuesday, April 29 at Frings and Bayliff Funeral Home, Tipp City.
