HALE, RUBY E. (LEAR) - Ruby E. Hale, 94, of Dayton, passed
away Thursday, May 8, 2008 at Otterbein of St. Mary's. She was born on July
3, 1913 in Arcanum to John and Grace Lear. She was preceded in death by her
parents; her husband of 53 years, Vernon C. Hale; sister, Daisy; brother,
Robert; grandsons, James Rhoades and Eric Trissell. She is survived by two
daughters, Carole Trissell and Dixie Gaeke; grandchildren, Beth Burton,
Susan Bennett, Mike Trissell, Judy Manners; nine great-grandchildren and six
great-great grandchildren. She was a member of the Beardshear United
Methodist Church, National Association of Letter Carriers Auxiliary No. 138
and the Pearl Harbor Survivors Auxiliary. Funeral services were Monday at
George C. Martin Funeral Home. Interment followed at Miami Memorial Park
Cemetery in Covington. If desired, memorials may be made to the Otterbein
