JEFFRIES, ROBERT V. - Robert V. Jeffries, 58, of Clayton,
died Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2008. Robert was a veteran of the US Army. He was a
member of the VFW Post 8211 and the American Legion Post 487. Robert was
also an avid fisherman. He is survived by his wife Cindy Prince; son,
Robert and Melissa Jeffries; step daughter, Angela and Larry Davis of
Dayton, mother, Julia (King) Jeffries of Dayton; brothers, Jim Jeffries of
Dayton, Harold and Charlene Jeffries of Bellbrook; sister, Sue Dixon of
Oklahoma; four grandchildren, other relatives and friends. He was preceded
in death by his father, James Jeffries; sister, Judy Spears and step son,
Cole Minton. Funeral services were held Oct. 10 at Kindred Funeral Home,
Englewood. Interment followed in Dayton National Cemetery. In lieu of
flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Dayton VA, envelopes will
