MILLER, LORETTA "RITA" (nee: DALTON)

Loretta "Rita" Miller, age 76 of West Milton, the last remaining of 11 siblings died June 30, 2008, following a brief stay at Harborside Health Care under the care of Hospice of Miami County. She was preceded in death by her parents John & Dolly (Seibert) Dalton; husband Beacher Miller; daughter Susan (Miller)Wall; step-son George Miller; brothers Jack, Chuck, Gene & Bus Dalton; sisters Helen, Ellen, Mary, Edith, Grace, and Mabel. She is survived by her daughter & son-in-law Anita & David Pollard, Arcanum; son-in-law Tim Wall, Potsdam; grandchildren, Christina (Silknitter) Hurd, Troy, Jessica (Pollard) Farling, West Milton, Michael Pollard, Arcanum; step-children; 4 great grandchildren; numerous step-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, and many wonderful nieces and nephews. She was a member of the West Milton United Church of Christ and was a homemaker most of her life. Funeral services were held Monday, July 7, at the Hale-Sarver Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Kurtz officiating. Interment followed at Riverside Cemetery, West Milton. Memorial contributions may be made to Harborside Health Care, Hospice of Miami County, or Union Twp. Life Squad.
