CANNON, KATHRYN (BOWMAN) - Kathryn Cannon, age 86, of Dayton passed away on Thursday, Jan. 3, 2008 at Friendship Village. She was born on April 12, 1921 in Ellerton. She is preceded in death by her parents Samuel E. and Claudia L. (Fryer) Bowman and brothers Frederick, Don, Hebert and Ralph Bowman. She is survived by her husband Forrest Cannon, a son and daughter-in-law, Neil & Diane Cannon of Huber Heights; daughters Michele F. Cannon of Dayton and Nadien K. Cannon of Vandalia; four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren. She retired from G.H.R. Foundry as an executive secretary & was a member of Phillipsburg United Methodist Church. Funeral services were Saturday, Jan. 5 at Hale-Sarver Funeral Home, with Pastor Andy Perry officiating, entombment to follow at Royal Oak Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. If so desired, contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association or Hospice of Dayton.
