LAMBERT, GEORGE E. "EDDIE" - George E. "Eddie" Lambert, age 84 of Tipp City, died April 2, 2008 at the University Hospital in Cincinnati, following a sudden illness. Born February 21, 1924 in Catawba, OH to Arthur and Hazel (Hunter) Lambert. George was retired from Hobart Mfg., Troy and was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church, Tipp City. He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife Ardith, daughter Edwina Seiler, sister Geneva, and a granddaughter Heidi Gayheart. Surviving are his wife Verna Jean Lambert, sons Charles Lambert, Dayton; James Lambert, Troy; son-in-law Raymond J. Seiler, Tennessee; sisters Lesta, Sharon, and Alma; and brother Eugene. Grandchildren Rayray Seiler, Michelle "Shell" Seiler, and Angie Collins. Nine great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter Aiyana. Funeral services were held Saturday, April 5 at the Zion Lutheran Church, Tipp City with Pastor Steve Gellatly officiating. Entombment followed in Rosehill Cemetery, Springfield.
