MILLER, EMERSON - New Carlisle - Emerson Miller, 96, of New
Carlisle, passed away Thursday, April 3, 2008, at home. He was born Aug.
13, 1911, in Darke County, to the late Amos and Rosa (Hollinger) Miller. He
is survived by his daughters, Norma Jean Ryman of North Hampton, Wava E.
Miller, Wilma (Harold) Eley and Glenna (Larry) Nicodemus, all of New
Carlisle; a daughter-in-law, Wilma Miller of Tipp City; 10 grandchildren; 32
great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other
relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death
by his wife, Wava M. Miller in 1997; a son, Kenneth D. Miller; five brothers
and two sisters. Funeral services were held Sunday at the Donnels Creek Old
German Baptist Brethren Church. Burial followed at New Carlisle Cemetery.
