LAY, BRENDA JOYCE - Brenda Joyce Lay, age 53 of West Milton passed away on Friday, Aug. 29, 2008 at her residence. She was born Nov. 20, 1954 in Shelbyville, Kentucky. She was preceded in death by her parents John T. & Flossie Ernestine Alien Lay, brother John Lay, sisters Gloria Brewer, Joan Nesbitt & Dolly Hansen. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Amanda & James Franco, Laura; two grandchildren, sister Denise Avery-Owensboro. She loved spending time with her grandchildren. Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m., on Tuesday, Sept. 9, 2008 at the Hale-Sarver Funeral Home, 284 N. Miami Street, West Milton.
