CAWEY, OLETA FERN (NEE: WOLFE) - Oleta Fern Cawley, 83, of Troy, and a lifelong resident of Miami County, passed away Friday, Aug. 11, 2006, at Harborside Nursing Home, Troy. Oleta was born in Miami County on April 2, 1923, to the late Harvey Ray and Minnie Pearl (Rudy) Wolfe. She was a homemaker and a member of the Pleasant Hill First Brethren Church. Cawley was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Frank Allen Cawley, Jr. in 1994; son-in-law, Kent Moore of Troy; and three brothers, Harold Wolfe, Kenneth Wolfe and Robert Wolfe. She is survived by her son, Ted Cawley of Troy; four daughters and sons-in-law, Jill and Terry Garman of Covington, Jackie and James Hewatt of Lilburn, Ga., Sherry Moore of Covington and Jeri and John Weikle of Tipp City; eight grandchildren, Jennifer (Garman) and Marshall Heath of Troy, Christopher and Sarah Garman of Troy, Jean (Weikle) and Matt Mitchell of Columbus, Jane (Weikle) and Tim Borchers of Piqua, Joel Weikle of Columbus, Alex Moore of Wooster, Kyle Moore of Columbus, and Tyler Moore of Covington; three great-grandchildren, Eliana Heath, Austin Tracy and Abby Garman; sister, Mary Rice of Pleasant Hill; brother and sister-in-law, Carl and Barbara Wolfe of Tucson, Ariz. and other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held Wednesday at the Pleasant Hill First Brethren Church with Pastor Lynn Mercer officiating. Interment followed in Miami Memorial Park Cemetery, Covington.
