Willie E. Fairchild, 69, of 120 N. Lincoln St., Christiansburg, died Friday at his home.
He is survived by his wife, Junie; three sons, James Elmo and Billy Monroe, both of Christiansburg; Thomas Dean, Vandalia; two daughters Mrs. Nannie Kidder, Christiansburg and Juanita Groves, Troy; a brother, Dennis of DeGraff; two sisters, Rosa Lee Woods of Michigan and Emma Webb, Bonanza, KY; a half sister, Thelma Blanton, Marion; 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Mr. Fairchild retired in 1975 as a machinist at the A. O. Smith Co. He was a member of the United Baptist Church, Floyd Co., KY
Funeral services will be 1:30 pm Monday at the Richeson-Wickham-Atkins Funeral home, St. Paris. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 pm today. Burial will be in Upper Honey Creek Cemetery, Christiansburg,
