HANAUER, NELLIE L. - Graveside services were conducted at 2 p.m. on Monday in the New Carlisle Cemetery for Mrs. Nellie L. Hanauer, 74, of 301 Pine Shores, Sarasota, Florida. She passed away on Friday, July 25, 1980 in the Hill Haven Convalescent Home in Marietta, Georgia. A native of Miami County, Nellie Hanauer lived in Brandt. She had been employed for a number of years in the Bethel School lunchroom, leaving in March of 1956. The Hanauers moved to Florida shortly after Mr. Hanauer retired from the C & LE Bus Company. The couple celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary this summer in Georgia. Mrs. Hanauer was a member of the Brandt Methodist Church. Survivors include her husband, Alfred; one daughter, Mrs. Nancy Murphy of Marietta, Georgia, formerly of Tipp City; two granddaughters, Mrs. Beth Patrick of St. Petersburg, Fla., and Lynn Murphy, at home. She was preceded in death by a brother, Fred Heide. Local arrangement were made by the Trostel-Chapman Funeral Home in New Carlisle.
