METZ, CHARLES - Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Friday afternoon by the Rev. J. Frank Ferguson for Charles Metz, 45, of New Carlisle. Mr. Metz was dead on arrival at Middletown Hospital Tuesday evening. He is the brother of Kenneth Metz of Bethel Township, Melville Metz, 1528 State Route 202, Troy; and Elwood Metz, 332 SR 571, Tipp City. Mr. Metz was employed as a welder at Tube Welding in Bradford. Other survivors include his wife, Gwendolyn; two daughters, Mrs. John (Sylvia) Kolakowski and Mrs. Daniel (Pamela Sue) Davenport, both of New Carlisle; and four sisters, in addition to his three brothers. Burial was in the New Carlisle Cemetery.
