HAWTHORNE, LEONARD A. - Funeral services were held on Monday at the Tobias Funeral Home in Dayton for Leonard A. Hawthorne, 70, of 5091 Sportscraft Drive, who passed away Thursday at his Dayton residence. He was the father of Mrs. Robert T. (Dorothy) Sweeney of SR 202 and Paul Hawthorne of Wonderway, both in Bethel Township. Mr. Hawthorne was the owner of the L. A. Hawthorne Company, Painting and Interior Decorating. He was a life-time member of the Northridge Optimist Club and a member of the Dayotn Manjo Club. The Reverend Elam Dohner of the Phoneton Brethren in Christ Church officiated at services. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery. Survivors included four other daughters, two more sons, a sister, 21 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren.
