WILEY, WILLIAM
- William Wiley, 83, of 250 Park Drive,
Dayton, former resident of the Phoneton area, died Monday at Miami Valley
Hospital. He was married to the late Valaria Klaiber Wiley. Surviving are
three sons, Lawrence Wiley, Denver, Colo., Jack Wiley, Tipp City, William
Wiley Jr., Dayton; three daughters, Mrs. John (Anna) Butler, Ironton, Mrs.
Dennis (Frances) McKinney, Dayton, Mrs. John (Betty) Barber, Beavercreek; 27
grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. One son John R. Wiley preceded
him in death. He was a member of the Ohio Furnace Enterprise Baptist
Church, American Legion, a veteran of World War I and D.A.V. He was a
retired retail merchant. Funeral services will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at the
Ohio Furnace Enterprise Baptist Church. Rev. Jerry Bruce will officiate.
Burial will be in Buckeye Cemetery, Ohio Furnace. Friends may call at
Frings & Bayliff Funeral Home, Tipp City, Wednesday from 5-9 p.m.
