HAWKINS, ROBERT HARLAN - A 19-year employee of the A. O.
Smith Corporation died Saturday at Dettmer Hospital. Final rites were held
on Tuesday at Fisher and Son Funeral Home by the Rev. Ernest Virgint for
Robert Harlan Hawkins, 54, of 548 Kirk Lane, Troy. He is survived by his
wife, Mildred; three children, Robert D., Mrs. Timothy (Nancy) Bailey, both
of Troy, and Eddy, attending the University of Helsinke; two sisters; and
two brothers. Two sisters and a brother preceded him in death. In lieu of
flowers, contributions were suggested to the Miami County Association for
Mentally Retarded Children, Inc. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery.
