Miami Union

O'DIAM, JOHN - John O'Diam was born in Cambridge, England, in 1836, and died Tuesday, Dec. 17, at the age of 76 years. He came to this country at the age of seven years and about 50 years ago was married to Miss Charlotte Mills. To this union were born six children three of whom preceded him in death. He was a consistent member of the Disciple Church and an upright man in every respect. He spent his younger days in teaching school and for some time lived in Tippecanoe City. His latter days were spent on a small farm nine miles northeast of Sidney. He and his wife had just come to spend the winter with their children when he was stricken with paralysis, only lingering nine days.
