She had one brother and one
sister who were:
Cary
KIZER who went west during the Gold Rush (c. 1849) and was never heard
from again.
Mary
KIZER married Nathan KNOTTS, a Civil War
Veteran. They resided in Columbus, Franklin County,
Ohio for at least part of their married life as the obituaries of Siebert
SMITH indicate they had traveled to Westville for the funeral from
Columbus.
Little
else is known of the Virginia KIZER’s family
except that they resided for at least some time in Kentucky,
probably near Louisville. I had corresponded with some descendants of other
children of Virginia and Siebert. According to those descendants they were
suppose to have been married in Louisville, KY. They also indicated that her
family was from Page County, Virginia.
